Cool! Voice-controlled elevator developed in Japan

Recently, Toshiba Corporation of Japan has developed an artificial intelligent elevator that can understand people’s speech. Passengers who take the elevator need not press the elevator button, but only need to say the floor they want to go to in front of a receiver device of the elevator, and the elevator can reach the floor you want to go to.

This is not very advanced, very in line with the current trend of all popular products intelligent, but I want to tell you that this is not the current technology, this is the 1990 “World Science and Technology Translation” published a news. Twenty-nine years have passed, and we haven’t seen such elevators in China yet. There are some machines that can understand people’s speech, such as Skycat Elves, Xiao Ai classmates…

Sometimes I wonder if some foreign elevator companies have stockpiled a lot of advanced elevator technology (and applied for patents), that is, they have not put it on the market in China (or around the world), or bit by bit.

China is currently the largest elevator market in the world. As of December 31, 2018, the number of elevators in China has reached 6.28 million, and the number of elevators is increasing by hundreds of thousands every year (this year’s growth is also the highest in the world). Under such circumstances, should we consider whether the most advanced and safe elevators are? Should it be developed in our country (whether foreign or Chinese) to be reasonable?
